What is IoT?

Whatis IoT?

IoT or “Internet of Things” is the interconnection between objects, places and the Internet. This refers to all objects connected to the Internet, giving them a digital existence in addition to their material existence.

Thus, it allows communication between physical objects and the internet network. The data emitted by the objects is then transmitted over the internet and accessible via an IoT application.

Connected objects, also called “smart devices”, allow their users to connect, control and monitor their devices.

On a daily basis, it is now possible, for example, to program and control your heating system remotely; heat less when you are away, increase the temperature of your home before you arrive, etc. This allows you to save considerable money and time.

At the industrial level, IoT is also very present in companies. Called industrial IoT or IIoT, it meets the requirements of industrial environments and in particular severe conditions. It is used, among other things, for predictive maintenance (anticipating possible machine breakdowns), to reduce costs linked to a production shutdown and to optimize the lifespan of equipment.

Thanks to our e-green sensor, an autonomous communicating sensor, you can now monitor your industrial installations without constraints via a mobile application.

Easy to install, the major advantage of the e-green sensor is that it works without batteries or wires, thanks to energy harvesting. In addition to predictive maintenance, you no longer have to change batteries or figure out how to connect it to your electrical network.Simply clipped around a cable, it will transmit data in real time, via the mobile application, on the current consumption of your installation or measure its temperature.
